Terms of Service

These terms apply to coaching with JawiFit and to jawifit.com, the JawiFit and JawiFit Coach apps, and app.jawifit.com. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian agrees to them for you.

Training and your health

Exercise carries a risk of injury. Check with your doctor before you start, especially if you have a medical condition or an injury, or are pregnant. Tell your coach about injuries and conditions, and keep them updated. Stop and tell your coach if something hurts or feels wrong.

Our coaching, plans and exercise instructions are general fitness guidance, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. You choose to take part, and you accept the risks that come with physical training.

Sessions and fees

Fees, scheduling and cancellation for coaching are agreed with your coach before you start.

Your account

App accounts are by invitation from a coach, one person per account. Keep access to your email secure, since that is how you sign in. We may pause or end an account that is misused.

Your content and ours

What you write and record (messages, notes, training records) stays yours. You let us store it and show it to you and your coaches so we can run the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.

The website, the apps, our plans, the exercise library and its instructions belong to JawiFit or the people who license them to us. You may use them for your own training, not copy or resell them.

Using the apps

Do not try to get into other people's accounts, interfere with the service, or copy or take apart the apps. Apps you get from Apple are also covered by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

We work to keep the apps and website running and accurate, but we provide them as they are and may change or stop a feature.

Limits on liability

As far as the law allows, JawiFit is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Ending

You can stop coaching or using the apps at any time. We may end coaching or access with notice, or right away if these terms are seriously broken.

Law

These terms are governed by California law. Disputes go to the courts of Santa Clara County, California.

Changes

When these terms change, we update them here and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also tell you in the app or by email.
